A Year-Round Club!

The colder weather which brings the end of the golf, tennis, and pool seasons will no longer limit club activities. With the addition of the new courts and the golf simulators our members can remain active all year long.

Over the past year, construction crews have been working on a capital project, originially proposed in 2019, and making it a reality for IGC members. This project included adding new resort-like facilities including paddle and pickleball courts, indoor golf simulators, a sports bar, and a casual dining room with views of the paddle courts. The building, called Centre Court, opened in October 2022.

IGC has always been the place to be in Inverness and with our exceptional dining offerings and social events, more and more families are realizing the value and benefits we provide.

DRESS CODE

Centre Court offers a more casual dining experience for IGC Membership and their guests. Men's proper attire includes warm-up suits, tennis shorts, collarless athletic shirts or athletic sweatshirts. Women's proper attire includes warm-up suits, tennis shorts, tennis skirts or dresses, racer-back tennis shirts or blouses, collarless athletic shirts or athletic sweatshirts. Shoes required.

PADDLE

Winter paddle season is over for 2023. Our three men’s teams competed against other clubs in the Chicago area and our Series 27 and 29 won their respected leagues! We also had a winter Ladies Intraclub League, and spring interclub leagues for both men and women.

Pickleball

Pickleball is easy to pick up and play, some of the rules and scoring can be a little tricky.  We offer many chances to learn and improve your pickleball game with clinics, along with being able to play in social and more competitive events.

How to Access the Courts
The pickleball courts are located on the west side of the pool. You can access the courts by walking around the back of the club, through the back patio and down the stairs towards the pool. You will walk through the grass and enter the courts just past the pool fence. Ladies can also walk through the ladies locker room. There is a pickleball social area with tables and chairs where you can place your gear and socialize before and after playing. Please see the diagram if you have any questions. Please note the court numbers on the diagram.

Reserving a Court
Please always reserve a court when planning on coming to the pickleball courts to play. You can reserve up to 2 hours at a time and up to 2 weeks in advance. When reserving a court, please be sure to select that you would like to reserve a Pickleball Court at the top left drop-down menu. Our Pickleball Courts are open May 1 through November 30.
