A Year-Round Club!

The colder weather which brings the end of the golf, tennis, and pool seasons will no longer limit club activities. With the addition of the new courts and the golf simulators our members can remain active all year long.

Over the past year, construction crews have been working on a capital project, originially proposed in 2019, and making it a reality for IGC members. This project included adding new resort-like facilities including paddle and pickleball courts, indoor golf simulators, a sports bar, and a casual dining room with views of the paddle courts. The building, called Centre Court, opened in October 2022.

IGC has always been the place to be in Inverness and with our exceptional dining offerings and social events, more and more families are realizing the value and benefits we provide.

Centre Court offers a more casual dining experience for IGC Membership and their guests. Men's proper attire includes warm-up suits, tennis shorts, collarless athletic shirts or athletic sweatshirts. Women's proper attire includes warm-up suits, tennis shorts, tennis skirts or dresses, racer-back tennis shirts or blouses, collarless athletic shirts or athletic sweatshirts. Shoes required.

Paddle season is underway! We have a full calendar of drills, matches, and events. Our three men’s teams have started competing against other clubs in the Chicago area. We also have a  Ladies Intraclub League.

Paddle Court Hours are as follows:
Courts 2+3: 8:00 am – Close
(Centre Court locked until 4:00 pm; must have own equipment)
    Courts 1+4: 4:00 pm – Close

8:00 am – Close

As always, please reserve a court if you are planning on playing. When reserving a court, please be sure to select that you would like to reserve a Paddle Court at the top left drop-down menu. If you need equipment (paddles, balls, etc.) please reach out to Andrew. See you on the courts!

Inverness offers a rich Tennis experience for players of all levels. Four Superior Har-Tru Tennis courts are available for your personal matches, as well as an extensive schedule of Mixers, Leagues and Tournaments for all skill levels. If you intend to use the tennis courts outiside of group or private lessons, please make a reservation using our Court Reservation system. The tennis courts are available for use from mid May through October 31.

Reserve a Court

Pickleball is easy to pick up and play, some of the rules and scoring can be a little tricky.  We offer many chances to learn and improve your pickleball game with clinics, along with being able to play in social and more competitive events.

How to Access the Courts
The pickleball courts are located on the west side of the pool. You can access the courts by walking around the back of the club, through the back patio and down the stairs towards the pool. You will walk through the grass and enter the courts just past the pool fence. Ladies can also walk through the ladies locker room. There is a pickleball social area with tables and chairs where you can place your gear and socialize before and after playing. Please see the diagram if you have any questions. Please note the court numbers on the diagram.
Reserving a Court
Please always reserve a court when planning on coming to the pickleball courts to play. You can reserve up to 2 hours at a time and up to 2 weeks in advance. If you have any issues or want to reserve outside of these parameters, please contact Andrew. When reserving a court, please be sure to select that you would like to reserve a Pickleball Court at the top left drop-down menu. Our Pickleball Courts are open May 1 through November 30.
Attire and Etiquette
Players should wear athletic clothing and court shoes. Black soled shoes are not allowed as they will leave marks on the courts. No bare feet, flip flops, swimsuits, etc.
