Caddie Program

Local high school boys and girls have sought to work in IGC’s caddie program since its inception. The Caddie program provides opportunities to gain interpersonal experiences, build teamwork, and instill an understanding of hard work. Our members and golf staff take great pride in developing young people and we are proud supporters of the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation (WGAESF) which provides full tuition scholarship and housing for deserving caddies. We currently have a number of caddies enrolled in top schools across the Midwest after receiving the Evans Scholarship.

Engaging in regular league play can foster improvement in your golfing abilities, as well as strategic thinking and decision-making.

Junior Golf

The premise of a quality Junior Golf Program is based on a foundation of quality learning and social interaction amongst peers. Golf is best learned through developmentally appropriate instruction. Within a large group environment our focus will be on the fundamentals of golf incorporating the values, traditions and etiquette of the game.

We will provide industry-leading techniques with innovative ideas to highlight correct motions of the golf swing. Also, we want to stress that playing a certain number of holes is not as important as budgeting your time on the golf course. By playing the correct amount of holes in the correct amount of time, we can build a solid foundation at a young age.

It is our goal to provide all participants an atmosphere of fun and learning.
