Inverness Golf Club Annual Meeting Recap and Important 2026 Dues Update

Dear Members,

Thank you to all who joined us for the Annual Meeting last Thursday. It was a productive evening focused on ensuring that Inverness Golf Club remains strong, competitive, and well-positioned for the future.

One of the most important topics discussed was the 2026 dues structure, which has been carefully developed to align with our present financial needs while also supporting long-term stability, fairness, and member value.

2026 Dues Update

Beginning January 1, 2026:
• Operational dues will increase, allowing the Club to properly fund its fixed costs and move toward annual breakeven results
• Capital dues will increase, providing the stable, predictable funding needed to address deferred maintenance and invest in continued improvements
• Together, these adjustments create a healthier financial model that supports the long-term stability of the Club

These changes are essential to ensuring that Inverness can maintain high service levels, preserve our facilities, and meet future financial obligations without relying on one-time assessments.

Membership Value Enhancements

In addition to updating dues, we are making changes that improve fairness and enhance the overall membership experience:

• The Food & Beverage minimum will be eliminated beginning in 2026
• The annual golf guest obligation will be reduced by $500 (from $1250 to $750), making it easier and more flexible to host guests
• The Congressional model will be used only when needed and ensures that contributions are tied to actual usage and membership type, includes all F&B costs as well as golf guest fees above $750

These adjustments simplify our structure, modernize our policies, and keep the Club competitive with peer clubs while delivering a clearer, more value-driven experience for members.

Looking Ahead

The revised dues structure, paired with disciplined expense management and consistent capital funding, positions the Club to:
• Achieve sustainable operating performance
• Address deferred maintenance responsibly
• Invest in amenities and improvements that enhance member enjoyment
• Meet our loan obligations in 2030–31 with confidence

We appreciate your continued trust and support as we take these important steps to preserve the quality and integrity of Inverness Golf Club for the years ahead.

Warm regards,
Scott Beutler, on behalf of the Board of Directors
